CASUAL COURT HIRE

We are open from 9:00am each day, though our hours may vary on public holidays, and centre users are welcome to use the car park opposite our building while using our facilities.

Please note that in accordance with BH policy, bookings can only be made via our online booking system and must be paid for up front in full. We do not accept bookings over the phone.

Court hire rates are variable depending on whether you have a current BH membership, and also whether the court booking is in peak or off-peak periods. For more information regarding BH membership, please see our membership page

Online bookings

Our online bookings are managed via the Skedda booking system.

If you DON’T have a Skedda profile:

1. Click on this link to create your profile
2. A confirmation email will be issued by Skedda after registration. Click the link provided within it to finalise profile creation.

If you DO have a Skedda profile:

1. Log in to your Skedda profile
2. Choose your preferred time via the booking calendar. You can book up to seven days in advance.
3. Populate the booking details and finalise the booking. The payment method associated with your profile will be charged upon successfully booking a session.

Off-Peak Hours and Pricing

We have discount court hire rates available during the below off-peak timeslots.

Court hire has been reduced to $11 per hour for members during these off-peak timeslots:

Private/ Bulk/ Event Bookings

BH provides the option of booking our badminton courts for private, group or event bookings.

Rates start at $240 for a minimum of 6 courts for two hours and additional courts are $20/court. We offer a discounted court rate for bookings for the whole hall (12 courts for four hours or more) on application.

Public Holidays or weekends may include an adjusted rate to cover staff costs as all bookings require an BH representative to be in attendance.

We will review your request and typically respond within three working days with approval or otherwise.

If approved a final cost and payment link will be provided. Payment must be received in full in order to complete a booking.

If your booking is for less than 12 courts, BH reserves the right to hire remaining courts – a booking for less than 12 courts does not reserve the whole hall.
